Most impact socket sets are available in a 6 point configuration for hexagonal nuts or bolt heads. Additionally, since drive sizes vary with each impact wrench, the corresponding impact sockets must be purchased. The 3/4" impact socket is by far the standard socket size since it allows the wrench to be used single handed and at the same time provides sufficient torque necessary for a wide range of applications. This means more flexibility than the 1" version and more power than the smaller 1/2" impact wrench.
